Multi-Instrumentalist, composer, performer and educator Chanell Crichlow joins Pacific鈥檚 Conservatory as Assistant Professor of Practice in Tuba and Euphonium
Pacific鈥檚 Conservatory announces the appointment of Chanell Crichlow as Assistant Professor of Practice in Tuba/Euphonium, Composition and Music Industries.
鈥淲e are ecstatic about Chanell Crichlow鈥檚 appointment to the faculty at Pacific鈥檚 Conservatory of Music,鈥 said Conservatory Dean Peter Witte, 鈥淐hanell鈥檚 range is mind-blowingly broad. First, she is a gifted classical tuba and euphonium player, and is part of a lineage of low brass playing and pedagogy that started in her middle school band program in New York City, and extend through the famed LaGuardia High School, to Arnold Jacobs, Velvet Brown, and Toby Hanks and most recently in conversation with Philadelphia Orchestra鈥檚 Carol Jantsch, who recently
Chanell is also a multi-instrumentalist, a composer, an arranger, a singer/songwriter, and a producer and publisher of her own works.
